Portland Outdoor Centre Est.2017

Portland Outdoor Centre offers clean, comfortable and spacious dorm style accommodation in our newly renovated 3 story Victorian building. With exposed beams and ornate features throughout, the centre has a lovely homely ambiance. We are able to accommodate up to 70 people split over two floors of accommodation. Most of the bedrooms are ensuite and two share a bathroom situated on the same floor. With all facilities located within one building it makes for a safe and friendly environment to bring groups to.  As well as the large dining room there is the fossil room that can be used as a classroom and meeting space, and a welcoming communal area. Additionally there is a kitchenette for visiting staff use and wifi is available throughout the building.

Residential programmes are fully catered with good quality wholesome food appropriate for a full day outdoors. Special diets can be catered for with advanced notice.

The Dorset Adventure Cafe is owned and operated by ourselves (Activate Outdoors). We control all aspects of our catering and are proud of the quality we maintain. The Cafe is also open to the general public daily between the hours of 08:30-15:00. The Cafe operation doesn’t overlap with any group use of the facilities.

Groups numbering 36 or above will have exclusive use of the accommodation or may share with another school if of a lower amount. Please enquire to find out more.
