Public session, suitable for individuals, families and small groups.

Let our experienced instructors show you the ropes. This open session is ideal for those have haven’t climbed on real rock before and wish to sample the sport for themselves. We’ll ensure that everyone has ample opportunity to climb and abseil as much as possible within the time available!

You will meet us at specified climbing venue on Portland and our session will start from there.
We’ll equip you with the necessary PPE the we’ll walk into the venue where you’ll experience climbing, abseiling and belaying under instruction from our experienced team.

Climbing is our passion, and we’d love to share that with you!

Once concluded we’ll depart from the venue, and bid your farewell. (if 18+) a cold pint a The Cove House Inn is a favourite post-climbing activity! (not included in the session unfortunately)
